When are looking for lamps, always look at the rated lumen and not on wattage. The fact is that you can get almost the same 1220 lumens from 20W CFL with 12W LED. Although LED is expensive than CFL, the rated life is longer - 40,000 hours for LDC and 15,000 hours fo CLF.
It is not only your electric bills that count but also the CO2 emission from the power station.
